Get To Know Me

I’ve been married to my wife since 2008, and together we have a daughter and son who definitely keep life busy, loud, and fun. We live in Grantsville, Utah, and love being part of a smaller community where relationships and helping people still matter.

I started in the insurance industry in 2012 with a large brokerage, where I learned a lot about Medicare and helping people navigate their options. Over time, I realized I wanted to provide a more personal level of service than the brokerage model allowed, so in 2025 I started Shawn Ray Insurance Group.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know my clients and being someone they can actually count on year-round — not just during enrollment season. I enjoy helping people feel more confident and less overwhelmed when it comes to their coverage decisions.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me driving my daughter to theater activities, wrestling around with my son, spending time with family and friends playing board games, or working on different 3D printing projects and designs.

My Vision

My vision is to create an insurance experience that feels personal, approachable, and built on trust. I want people to know they have someone they can call or text who truly knows them, understands their needs, and helps guide them through the changing world of Medicare and health insurance with clarity and confidence. Through Shawn Ray Insurance Group, I hope to build lasting relationships and become a trusted resource for individuals and families for years to come.
