Why Working With A Medicare Agent Costs You Nothing

Medicare can feel overwhelming fast. Between plan options, doctor networks, prescription costs, and changing benefits, many people are not sure where to start. The good news is working with an independent Medicare agent typically does not cost you anything extra. I help clients compare plans, understand their options in plain English, and stay informed throughout the year so they feel confident about their coverage instead of feeling like they are figuring it all out alone.

One thing I hear all the time is:

“Does it cost more to use an agent?”

It really doesn’t.

Whether you sign up directly through an insurance company or work with an independent Medicare agent like me, the cost of the plan is generally the same. The difference is having someone helping you understand everything and making sure you’re looking at the bigger picture.

Medicare can get overwhelming fast. There are a lot of moving parts — doctors, prescriptions, hospital copays, networks, deductibles, and all the different plan options. Most people just want to know they’re making a good decision and not overpaying or missing something important.

That’s where I come in.
